MERIMBULA BOARDRIDERS 2008

Welcome to MERIMBULA BOARDRIDERS.

The Club is offering the following Competition Program over the next Calendar Year:

Sun17th Feb: Club Comp

Mon 24 th March: Club Comp

May 10th - Tag team Comp with Lakes Entrance

May 18th - Club Comp

Sun 8th June: Club Comp

All comps will commence at Short Point at 7am on the morning of the event, with information about the comps displayed on the Short Point and Pambula Beach Noticeboards.

The format of the comps will be a combination of Traditional Comps ( with heats, semis and finals, if we've got enough starters ) and Progressive Points Score Comps ( everyone surfs 2 heats with 1 st place in each heat receiving 6 points, 2 nd place 4 points, 3 rd place 2 points and everyone else 1 point ). This accumulates with the best 4 scores for the year being considered for each surfer in awarding final places for each division for the year.

The nature of the comps will depend on surfer roll-ups, conditions and surfer interest on the day.
